Metso has recently established the Metso Tissue Technology Award with the purpose to promote university students' and scientists' work to develop innovations for a sustainable tissue production. The award can be obtained for further development of an innovative thesis or as a reward for remarkable results of work completed. Innventia, as one of Metso´s research partners in the area of tissue, will be part of the jury group and we hereby invite you to take part!

 

The Award will be granted every second year and the first winner will be presented in conjunction with the Tissue World exhibition in Barcelona, Spain, 2013. The focus area of 2013 is energy efficiency. Are you a student or graduate working on an idea of how to reduce the consumption of steam, gas or electrical power? Send your thesis to the Metso Tissue Technology Award. You might be rewarded!

In addition to honor and attention from the tissue making industry world-wide, the total prize amount is USD 25.000.
